Counselling comes in all shapes and sizes. Every therapist will work in their own unique way. That means not every therapist will be right for you. And that's OK.
I am an integrative counsellor offering one-to-one counselling. An integrative counsellor means that my training covered a variety of different therapeutic approaches and I will use snippets of diffierent tools within our work.
Sessions together can be short or long term, depending on your needs. I work in a collaborative way, meaning I work alongside you to help you to reach your goals, explore your challenges and tell your story. Counselling is a safe, confidential space where we can talk through what you need, it is your time and I am here for you.
Low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts/ideation, anxiety, confidence, friendships, parental conflict, parental seperation, relationships, identity, sexuality, exam stress, depression, low mood, anger issues, trauma, grief.
And much, much more.
Therapy is a space for you to talk about anything and everything. I do not judge and everything you say remains between us.
My Training
As a therapist, I complete ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) throughout the year. This includes workshops, longer term training, reading and listening to podcasts.
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) which means I abide by their code of ethics.
